Introduction:

When it comes to launching rockets, having a reliable and efficient ignitor is crucial. The ignitor is responsible for initiating the ignition process of the solid rocket motor, ensuring a successful launch. After several iterations and testing, I have developed a simple and cost-effective DIY ignitor that offers excellent reliability. However, it's important to note that rocketry is a dangerous field, and caution should always be exercised. This blog aims to provide educational information, and any use or misuse of the information is the reader's responsibility.

HOW TO USE:

To ignite the ignitor, you have several power source options such as a 3.7V Li-ion battery, a 9V battery, or an AA battery (based on a suggestion from a friend). Despite their low cost, these ignitors have proven to be highly reliable.
